The secret to cooking lamb shanks is to cook them low and slow, until the meat is fall-apart tender, we recommend browning them in a frying pan, adding to a Dutch oven or a sauce pan with a lid (suitable for the oven) adding a mixture of chopped vegetables and stock and cooking for around 1 hour and 30 mins.
