Part Time Farm Shop Assistant
Roves Farm is looking for a dedicated Farm Shop Assistant to work in our Farm Shop and on our Take-Away counter. We are an established family-run business, based on our working livestock farm and visitor attraction near Swindon.
The role is for three days a week, Friday, Saturday and Monday, 9am-5pm.
Flexibility is expected, especially during peak trading periods such as the run up to Christmas and during school holidays. The farm is closed from 24th December to the 1st January inclusive, so you will have Christmas off!
Responsibilities include:
-Providing excellent customer service from the moment a customer enters our doors.
-Maintaining a professional attitude at all times while front of house.
-Advise customers in a positive and engaging manner.
-Keeping all areas clean and tidy.
-Stock replenishment and stock takes.
-Help implement and promote seasonal promotions and product offers.
-Handle cash and card transactions.
-Encouraging customers to enrol in our loyalty card scheme.
-Serve hot and cold drinks and ice-creams from our Take-away counter.
-Assisting the Manager in all tasks.
You must drive or have access to a reliable lift as there is no public transport to Roves Farm.
