Arrival/ Directions


You may arrive any time between 4pm and 9pm on the Friday of your Camp Weekend. If you are arriving after 9pm on Friday, or on Saturday please pre arrange your arrival time with us. Please do not arrive before 4pm on the Friday- the gates will not be opened until 4pm.


When you get to Roves Farm please follow the signs that direct you to the Camping Field, and sign in with the member of staff present.

Rules and Safety


-Roves Farm Visitor Centre & its facilities are open from 10am and will close at 5pm each day. Strictly no entry after 5pm.


-Children must be supervised at ALL times.


-Wristbands must be worn at all times.


-Wash your hands after touching animals- handwashing facilities are located in the toilets & Pets Corner Barn.


-Sorry NO dogs.


-BBQ's & cooking stoves welcome


-We will provide a communal campfire, please do not light your own.


-Don't forget your torch!


-Cars must be parked in the designated parking area once unloaded.


-Please keep all valuables on you at all times.


-Please familiarise yourself with the 'Information Board' for emergency contacts & evaucation plans.


-Please use the litter bins provided for ALL your rubbish, or take it home with you.


-No smoking permitted in the camping area, Roves Farm Visitor Centre buildings or play areas. Smokers please use the Visitor Centre carpark or Camping carpark ONLY.


-The field around the camping area is also used for grazing livestock through the year.

Please make sure you do not leave anything behind on departue (especially tent pegs!) that may harm the animals. Thank you.

Other Facilities

- The Woolly Sheep Tearoom is open every day 10am - 5pm.


- Roves Farm Meats can be purchased from the freezer at Reception 10am-5pm. If you would like to pre order some meat

to be defrosted for the first night please contact us in advance.


- Toilets & handwashing facilities are available on site. However there are no showers or electric points.


- Drinking water is available on site.


- Caravans are welcome, however, if the ground is too wet you may be asked to park outside of the main camping field

on hard ground.
