Activity Trail
Enjoy a walk around our Activity Trail. Taking in the Animal Paddocks, open fields & nature. What will you discover?
Don’t forget to collect your Activity Trail card and answer the questions along the way. If you get the right answer collect your stamp. Collect 5 stamps to claim your prize!
Animal Paddocks
Donkeys, alpacas, goats and ponies can be found in the paddocks.
*Animals may be inside during the winter months.
Tractor Ride*
Hop on a tractor ride to experience the sights and sounds of a working farm. Your driver will talk to you about the farm, animals and anything else that you might see.
Please be aware that our tractor rides do get bumpy, so may not be suitable for those with a physical/medical issue or pregnant women.
Tractor rides are seasonal and run Feb half term – end October weather permitting. An additional charge applies of £1.50 per person, including members. Under 3’s ride for free. Tickets can be purchased at Reception.
Last ride will be at 3.30 each day.
Animal Racing
Watch the animals race at weekends & during school holidays. Place a bet in aid of charity & cheer on your runner!
*Takes place from Easter until September at weekends and during school holidays, weather permitting.
Discovery Wood
Hidden in the green of our Willow copse. Build a den or enjoy a picnic here. Also home to some of our small animals in the warmer months.
Explore the farm, see the larger farm animals in the fields and enjoy the sights and sounds of the countryside.
Tractor rides run from February Half Term – 31st October, dependent on ground conditions.

Let the children run off steam in the fresh air! Have fun climbing, sliding and swinging in the ‘Treehouse’ and ‘Farmers Den’ wooden adventure play areas. Plus there is a zip wire, nest swing & two giant sandpits.
Follow the grass paths and tracks through young woodlands, rivers and ponds. With an array of habitats, Roves Farm is home to lots of wildlife. The quieter you go, the more you might see! Keep an eye out for squirrels, buzzards and deer.
