Vines were first planted art Halfpenny Green in 1983 by Martin Vickers on land his family have farmed traditionally for 3 generations. His son Clive is now the winemaker, fourth generation, continuing the family tradition.
The vines are growing on the gentle South West facing slopes in view of the Severn Valley.
A medium-dry white blend, with aromas of lemon, pear, and English hedgerow. This easy-going wine is zesty and refreshing, offering flavours and lemon & orange peel, and fresh-cut grass.
At its best as an aperitif, but pairs well with white meats and vegetable-based dishes.
