Vines were first planted art Halfpenny Green in 1983 by Martin Vickers on land his family have farmed traditionally for 3 generations. His son Clive is now the winemaker, fourth generation, continuing the family tradition.
The vines are growing on the gentle South West facing slopes in view of the Severn Valley.
A vibrant, fruity rose, with aromas of strawberry, redcurrant, and watermelon. This rose, with juicy flavours of cranberry and strawberry, is easy-drinking and crisp on the palate.
This wine works brilliantly with fresh salads, seared salmon and soft cheeses.
