Hop aboard!
Hop on a tractor ride to experience the sights and sounds of a working farm. Your driver will talk to you about the farm, animals and anything else that you might see.
Please be aware that our tractor rides do get bumpy, so may not be suitable for those with a physical/medical issue or pregnant women.
Tractor rides are seasonal and run Feb half term – end October weather permitting. An additional charge applies of £1.50 per person, including members. Under 3’s ride for free. Tickets can be purchased at Reception.
Last ride will be at 3.30 each day.
Sussex cattle
Our Pedigree Sussex cattle graze the fields from late Spring until they need to come into the cattle sheds for winter. They really stand out with their beautiful, red coats!
Sheep
We have two breeds of sheep on the farm, Poll Dorset and Suffolk Cross. They can be seen in the fields throughout the year, except at lambing time when they can be viewed in the lambing barn.
Gloucester Old Spot Pigs
Our traditional breed Gloucester Old Spot Pigs are reared mostly outside, spending their days snuffling through the mud, taking a dip in their wallow or napping in the shade.
