Meet & feed the animals
We have a variety of animals, both large and small here at Roves Farm. From sheep and pigs, to rabbits, guinea pigs, tarantulas and lots more. Meet our friendly animals at sessions throughout the day. Feed our greedy goats in Pets Corner and grab a ‘rod’ for a spot of guinea pig fishing! Feed included.

We have a wide range of animals here at Roves Farm. Our meet the animal sessions are the perfect opportunity to get up close, and find out more about them from our knowledgeable team.
Stroke rabbits & guinea pigs in Pets Corner. Meet piglets, goats, Frankie the tortoise and Stevie the corn snake. Meet lambs and kids during the lambing and kidding seasons.
Our very friendly donkey Bobby always loves some fuss, and don’t forget George the alpaca and Shetland ponies Saffron, Pebbles and Tommy.

Goats
We have Pygmy, Boer (pictured) and Saanen goats here at Roves.
Rabbits
We have lots of rabbits to meet. You’ll find them in Pets Corner.
Guinea Pigs
Our many guinea pigs live in Pets Corner. Give them their veg at Guinea Pig Fishing sessions!
Gloucester Old Spot Piglets
You’ll find piglets at Roves all year round. See them with the sows in the Animal Barn. They are included in Meet the animals sessions too.
Corn Snake
Meet Stevie, our very first snake resident here at Roves.
Chickens & Guinea Fowl
We have a resident cockerel and hens, they roam freely alongside our guinea fowl.
Degus
Meet Mario & Luigi, our very vocal Degus. They love whizzing around on their wheel.
Hermann’s Tortoise
Meet Frankie, our resident tortoise. She hibernates (in the fridge!) between November and February.
Ferrets
Our four ferrets are brothers Woody, Buzz, Slinky & Rex. Don’t miss them in Ferret Racing during school holidays.
Tarantulas
We have two species of tarantula. Trevor the Green Bottle Blue and Simon the Brazilian Black.

Indian & Black Beauty stick insects

Madagascan Hissing cockroaches

African Grey Parrots
Meet Bobby & Alfie in Pets Corner. They are great mimics and like to whistle at visitors!
Giant African land snails
You’ll find them in Creepy Corner.
Lambs (seasonal)
We lamb in January & April. Meet the lambs sessions run during these times. If possible bottle feeding sessions are also offered.
Goat kids (seasonal)
Kidding is seasonal and you can meet the kids in Pets Corner. If possible bottle feeding sessions are also offered.
Feeding time!
Feed our greedy goats in Pets Corner, they love the attention. Do a spot of guinea pig fishing, see who can can ‘catch’ with some fresh veggies on the end of your rod. Animal feed is included.
