Our Family Camping Weekends are a perfect way to enjoy a chilled time with family and friends. Dates for 2026 are:

Camp Weekend FAQ's

- Camping on Friday & Saturday night.
- Saturday evening Roves BBQ (NEW menu for 2026).
- Saturday evening mini disco and games led by the Roves Farm team.
- Entry to Roves Farm for the whole weekend (Saturday & Sunday 9am to 5pm). Access all indoor & outdoor play areas, Discovery Wood, animal barns, paddocks and activity trails.
- Daily Activities such as meet & feed the animals, Animal Racing, brush the pony, walk the goat & wash the tractor. (Please note activities may vary according to availability & conditions).
- Woolly Sheep Café serving hot & cold food, snacks & drinks to purchase.
- Farm Shop & Butchery selling Roves meats and lots of local produce.
- Farm Shop Counter serving takeaway barista hot drinks, soft drinks & ice creams to purchase.
- Gift Shop with plenty of Roves branded souvenirs, pocket money toys and lots more.
Here’s a run down of what you can expect over the weekend.
Saturday:
- 9am: Visitor Centre, Farm Shop, Butchery and Café all open.
- 9am – 10.45am: Breakfast menu available from the Café (not included).
- 10am – 4pm: Roves Farm daily activities programme.
- 5pm: Roves Farm closes.
- 6pm: BBQ served in the main barn, with option to takeaway or eat in.
- 7pm: evening mini disco and games with the Roves Farm team.Sunday:
- 9am: Visitor Centre, Farm Shop, Butchery and Café all open.
- 9am – 10.45am: Breakfast menu available from the Café (not included).
- 10am – 4pm: Roves Farm daily activities programme.
- Departure before 5pm.
- 5pm: Roves Farm closes.
On the Saturday evening we will provide a Roves BBQ, freshly prepared just for you. Our new menu for 2026 is:

Vegetarian options are also available, please select at booking along with highlighting any other dietary requirements.
Please note our kitchen uses products containing gluten, dairy, nuts and soy. We therefore cannot guarantee against cross-contamination but we always do our best to prepare food in a separate area to minimise this risk as much as possible if requested at booking.
This is a set menu and the food will need to be collected from the main barn. It will be bagged up to allow you to eat in the barn or back at your tent.
Yes you can, we welcome camper vans and caravans. However, if ground conditions are wet you will be designated to a certain plot.
Yes, these are permitted as long as they are raised off of the ground. However, if the ground conditions are very dry we ask that you do not bring these with you, as they would pose a potential fire risk. No open fires are permitted under any conditions.
Yes you can, but it must be positioned directly in front of your tent.
You cannot reserve a specific pitch, but don’t worry there are plenty available. Upon arrival you are welcome to save neighbouring pitches for friends joining you.
Pre-booked ticket holders only can access Family Camp. Please bring your ticket confirmation with you. Tickets are non-refundable.
Gates open at 4pm on the Friday for arrivals until 7.30pm. If you are planning on arriving after this time or on Saturday morning, please pre-arrange your arrival time with us.
GATES WILL NOT OPEN UNTIL 4PM. If you arrive before 4pm, please park in the main car park to avoid blocking our driveway access.
On arrival please follow the signs to the camping field.
Our team will be onsite from 4pm on Friday to check you in and ensure you have all the information for the weekend. If you arrive after 7.30pm you can pitch up first and check in at Reception from 9am on Saturday morning.
All campers must have left the site by 5pm on the Sunday. Please respect this time as the farm will close at 5pm.
In the event of wet weather, you may leave your tent up and return to pack it away within 48hrs. All tents must be removed before 5pm on the following Tuesday after camp.
No, dogs are not permitted at our camping weekends.
Our camping weekends are a family experience, and we want everyone to have the best time possible. Please be respectful of other campers and ensure you are fully aware of our camp rules.
- Roves Farm Visitor Centre & it’s facilities are open from 9am and will close at 5pm each day. Strictly no entry to the visitor centre after 5pm.
- Children must be supervised at ALL times.
- Wristbands must be worn at ALL times.
- Wash your hands after touching animals – handwashing facilities are located in the toilets & Pets Corner.
- Please be respectful to other campers and keep noise to a minimum after 9pm.
- Cars can be parked near to your tent, but please be respectful to other campers when parking.
- Please keep all valuables on your person at all times.
- Please familiarize yourself with the ‘Information Board’ displayed in the camping field for emergency contacts & evacuation plans.
- Please use the litter bins provided for ALL your rubbish, or take it home with you.
- The field around the camping area is also used for grazing livestock through the year. Please make sure you do not leave anything behind on departure (especially tent pegs!) that may harm the animals or machinery.
