The Butter Chicken Base has been perfected using large pieces of onion and tantalising spices. Despite it’s wonderful buttery taste it has been made without butter so perfect for those avoiding dairy. Add as much or as little as you like or why not stir in a dollop of crème fraîche to create an extra creamy texture?

Charanjit Sapal (Charlie) started making her curry sauces for her son Gurjett when he went to university. What she didn’t realise is that Gurjeet had started selling her delicious sauces around campus and once the truth was revealed the family knew they were on to something and Punjaban was born. To this day every jar is lovingly handmade with the same care and attention at the original batches.
