If you fancy something a little different, our handmade pies are a great Christmas main alongside your favourite sides. They also make an easy supper over Christmas when you need a hearty, warming meal with minimal effort.

Description

Made using our very own Roves Farm meats*,  each pie is handmade to ensure great quality and a true homemade taste.  A warming, no hassle supper over the Christmas period.

We love to support local businesses which is why we use Arkell’s Kingdown Ale in our Steak & Ale Pie and Bensons Apple Cider (Farmer Rupert’s favourite!) in the Pork, Apple & Cider Pie.

 

*Chicken pie is made using poultry from Cotswold Meat Co. near Swindon.

Ingredients:

 

STEAK & KIDNEY

Filling: Roves Beef, Roves pigs kidney, gravy (Maltodextrin, potato starch, salt, sugar, flavourings, yeast extract, vegetables (onion powder, tomato puree powder), caramel syrup, palm fat, thickener ( guar gum), sunflower oil, sage).

Pastry: WHEAT flour (calcium, iron, niacin, thiamin), water, margarine (palm & rapeseed oils, water, salt, emulsifier (E471)) Flour treatment agent:( E920) salt, natural colour (luetin).

 

STEAK & ALE

Filling: Roves Beef, water, ale (water, BARLEY, WHEAT, hops, yeast).

Pastry: (WHEAT Flour (WHEAT Flour, Calcium Carbonate, Iron, Niacin, Thiamin), Margarine (Palm Fractions; Palm Oil; Rapeseed Oil; Water; Salt; Emulsifier: Mono & Di-Glycerides of Fatty Acids), Water, Salt) gravy (modified starch, salt, WHEAT flour (WHEAT flour, calcium carbonate, Iron, Niacin, Thiamin) Onion Powder, Colour (E150c) Emulsifier, (E450(iii)), Flavourings, Yeast extract, spice (white pepper).

MAY CONTAIN: Eggs, Fish, Soya, Milk, Celery, Mustard, Sulphur Dioxide.

Filling: Roves Beef, water, Stilton (MILK).

MINTY LAMB

Filling: Roves Lamb, Mint Sauce (Malt Vinegar (from Barley), sugar, Mint (17%), water, Gelling agent: pectin), gravy (Maltodextrin, potato starch, salt, sugar, flavourings, yeast extract, vegetables (onion powder, tomatoe puree powder), caramel syrup, palm fat, thickener (guar gum), sunflower oil, sage.

Pastry: wheat flour (calcium, iron, niacin, thiamin), water, margarine (palm & rapeseed oils, water, salt, emulsifier (E471)) Flour treatment agent: ( E920) salt, natural colour (luetin).

 

VEGETABLE

Filling: Mixed vegetables including CELERY, gravy.

Pastry: wheat flour ( calcium, iron, niacin, thiamin), water, margarine ( palm & rapeseed oils, water, salt, emulsifier (E471)) Flour treatment agent:( E920) salt, natural colour (luetin).

 

CHICKEN

Filling: Chicken, gravy (maltodextrin, potato starch, salt, rice flour , yeast extract, sunflower oil) tomato puree caramel syrup, onion , rosemary, sage, pepper, palm fat.

Pastry: (WHEAT flour, calcium carbonate, iron, niacin, thiamine) Margarine, palm fractions, palm oil, rapeseed oil, water, salt, mono and di-glycerides MILK).

Cooking Instructions

 

Cook from frozen, cook in a pre-heated oven at 180c for 50 mins.
