Our Turkey butterflies are locally sourced and make a great value centrepiece for a festive family meal. As there are no bones, you get more meat for your money and none of the hassle of disposing of the carcass.
This butterfly is prepared, packed & frozen ready for your freezer. To defrost, place in the fridge for 48 hours and check it is fully defrosted before cooking.
We recommend allowing 250g portion per person. A 2kg butterfly will feed a group of 6 with some leftovers.
Recommended cooking times, once fully defrosted for 48 hours:
190C/170C fan/gas 5 and the cooking time calculated as follows:
Under 4kg: 20 mins per kg plus 70 mins
Over 4kg: 20 mins per kg plus 90 mins
