Roves Farm,

Schools & Educational Visits

Roves Farm is a working farm open to the public. It is situated at the foot of the Wiltshire Downs, on the banks of the River Cole. Its varied soils, farming methods, wildlife habitats, facilities and experienced staff make it an ideal place for people to visit to expand their knowledge, put ideas into practice and have fun.

Every effort has been made to make the farm accessible to all.

We like to ensure that you have a happy, interesting, educational and safe day out.

In order that events run smoothly, we would like to be aware of the following:-

-The date of the visit and time of arrival and departure.

- The number of adults (teaching staff, ancillaries and parents).

-The number of children and their age.

- Any special needs.

-The educational context in which the visit is to be made and its objectives.

-Any particular aspects of the farm which the group will want to see or talk about.

-The attitudes on either religious or moral grounds of anything that might cause embarrassment to any member of the group.

The cost per class is £140 + VAT @20% = £168.00 (Maximum of 35 children per class)

N.B. You may bring 1 free adult per 5 children, all extra adults will be charged at the special rate of £6.50 + VAT.

Please note the charge per class (£140.00 + VAT @ 20%= £168) includes 4 hours teaching with a Roves Farm guide for a maximum class size of 35 children.
